REGULATION

Applications will be accepted until  November 26, 2023

 I. GENERAL CONDITIONS

1.1. Organizer of the Competition – Company ARS FESTA

1.2. The date and venue of the competition are 6-7 January 2023. Adress: VAIDILOS THEATRE, A. Jakšto str. 9, Vilnius 01105, Lithuania

II. PROCEDURES OF THE COMPETITION

2.1. COMPETITION IS OPEN FOR:

vocalists: soloists, duets and vocal ensembles up to and including 24 years of age;

2.2. DEADLINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ENTRY FORMS

Participants must:

– complete the entry form on www.muzikostalentulyga.lt by 26 November 2023.

– send a phonogram (minus) of their song to [email protected] by 20 December 2023.

Please, name the soundtrack files according to the requirements:

Name_Surname_­­ The name of the song;

for example: John_Mc Donald_My home_ Falk.

For ensembles, the name of the ensemble should be used instead of the name.

2.3. COMPETITION CATEGORIES AND COMPETITION PROCEDURES

2.3.1. Each performer participates in his/her age-group.

The age category of the ensembles is determined by the average age of the participants.

The participants will be divided into age groups at the end of the registration period according to the number of participants by age.

2.3.2. Participants perform 1 composition of their choice. The performance can be in any genre.

2.3.3. The duration of the work shall not exceed 3:30 minutes.

2.3.4 The organisers provide a keyboard instrument (electrical piano). Other instruments (if needed) are provided by the participants, including accessories needed for their sound, e.g. cubes for guitars.

2.4. JUDGING AND PRIZES.

The jury members will evaluate each participant’s performance with a score from 5 to 10. For each participant, the overall average of the scores of all the jury members is derived.

More than one first, second and third prize may be awarded in each category by decision of the Commission. There are also special festive nominations. One MINI GRANDPRIX winner will be selected in each age group, who has the highest number of points from the jury in the whole age group.

At the end of the whole competition, one winner of the GRAND PRIX and one winner of the GRAND PRIX CHRISTMAS SONG will be selected among the MINI Grand Prix winners. The GRAND PRIX winners will be announced one week after the competition, after the jury has listened to all the video records of the MINI GRAND PRIX winners and voted again.

All participants and pedagogues are awarded with Santa Claus‘ gifts, diplomas and medals, Grand Prix winners are awarded with Grand Prix trophies, diplomas and gift vouchers for participation in other competitions organised by ARS FESTA.

2.5. PRICING

Participants in the Competition shall make a support by 26 November 2023 to the account indicated below:

Support amount:

Soloist  – 30 EUR registration fee + 60 EUR participation fee

Duo  – 30 EUR per performance registration fee + 55 EUR  per person participation fee

Trio and more – 30 EUR per performance registration fee + 35 EUR per person participation fee

For registrations made after 26 November, there is an additional “late registration fee” of EUR 20 per performance. Late registrations will only be accepted if there is space for additional participants.

If, for any reason, participation is cancelled later than 1 December, EUR 30 registration fee will be not refunded and the remainder may be transferred to another competition organised by ARS FESTA.

2.6. FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE COMPETITION

All performances will be filmed and photographed with professional equipment (2 or 3 cameras, sound from a sound desk). If you would like to purchase a video and/or high resolution photos of your performance, please let us know by email [email protected] or by coming to the venue at the reception.

The price of the video is 45 EUR per piece.

 FILMING WITH YOUR OWN TECHNOLOGY IS FORBIDDEN, except on telephones.

III. PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME

Venue of the Competitoin – VAIDILOS THEATER, Jakšto str. 9, Vilnius 01105, Lithuania.

Competition days – 6-7 January 2023.

At the end of each competition day there will be the Award ceremony for that day’s participants. The GRAND PRIX winners will be announced one week after the competition, after the jury has listened to all the video records of the MINI GRAND PRIX winners and voted again.

Detailed list of performances and times will be announced after the registration of the participants, by 30 December 2023.

IV. FINAL CONDITIONS

4.1. Competitors and accompanying persons are responsible for their own travel expenses.

4.2 The Organisers reserve the right to modify the programme and the Regulations as necessary.

4.3 The Organisers shall be entitled to all TV and radio appearances, publishing, filming and photography without any additional charge. The Organiser may use video, audio and photographic material for promotional purposes without the express permission of the participants.

4.4 Participants are responsible for respecting the copyright of the songs they perform.

4.5 By agreeing to participate in the competition, the participant (or his/her representative – an adult if the participant is a minor) confirms that he/she agrees to and has no claims regarding the public publication of the participant’s photographs, video recordings, and other personal data in the public domain for advertising purposes.
