CONDITIONS

Ars festa, represented by its director Asta Bagdonavičienė, hereinafter referred to as the ORGANISER, kindly invites young singers and dancers as well as instrumentalists to take part in the international arts festival competition "SUMMER TALENT LEAGUE". The competition takes place in the sunny Spanish resort of Lloret de Mar. The competition brings together ensembles and soloists from different nationalities. The aim of the festival is to promote the international dissemination of amateur art and develop international cooperation. Participants will not only have the opportunity to showcase their talent on the competition stage, but also to have fun by the seaside, to visit one of Europe's most spectacular cities, Barcelona, or the neighbouring resort of Tosso De Mar, and to make new friends with like-minded people from other countries.

I. PARTICIPANTS.

Participants are invited to compete in the following nominations:

  • Vocals (various genres: pop, rock, classical, folk, jazz, etc.)
  • Choreography (various styles: modern dance, sports dance, classical, modern classical, folk, street, etc.)
  • Instrumental music (solo or chamber ensembles, duos, trios, orchestras, playing various instruments in different genres and eras)
  • Show (various show numbers, which may combine dance, song, theatre or circus elements)

No age limit.

Participants will be divided into age groups at the end of the registration period, depending on the number of participants.

 

II. REPERTURE.

All participants prepare one competition and one non-competition performance.

A non-competitive performance is not compulsory and is not evaluated by the jury.

Vocalists perform with instrumental accompaniment recorded on a phonogram or acapella(-).

Performances in this category may be performed to a phonogram (+).

 

III. PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME.

 

26 June Arrival of participants, check-in at the hotel.

Meeting of managers and/or parents

 

27 June 17:15 Festive procession through the town. Please bring your countries, cities, groups' paraphernalia (flags, banners, t-shirts, caps, etc.)

 

17:30 - 22:30 Non-competitive performances by participants. Competition.

Location: the Plaza de Villa in front of the City Hall.

 

28 June 17:30 - 22:30 Non-competitive performances. Competition

Location: the Plaza de Villa in front of the City Hall.

 

29 June Excursion Day (based on a pre-arranged selection of excursions). Tentatively organised excursions: sightseeing tour of Barcelona, boat trip to Tossa de Mar, excursion to the Salvador Dali Museum, excursion to the Monastery of Monserat.

20:00 - 23:00 Friendship evening, free-will performances on stage by the participants, jury members and leaders, open-air disco. All participants, leaders, parents, jury members and guests are invited. Venue - Piazza Rocca del Maig (on the seafront)

 

30 June 18:00 - 23:00 Gala concert. Awards ceremony.

Location - Plaza de Villa, in front of the City Hall.

 

1 July Departure day.

 

The programme is provisional. A revised programme will be sent to all participants by 20 June.

Note. It is possible to arrive before the official start of the competition and leave after the end of the competition. You must give as much notice as possible of your wish to extend your stay.

 

IV. AWARDS.

 

The following awards are given in each competition category:

  • MINI Grand Prix in a specific age group
  • 1 place
  • 2nd place
  • 3rd place
  • Graduate

The GRAND PRIX of the whole competition is also awarded separately to soloists, groups, dancers and instrumentalists.

 

At the discretion of the jury, awards may be divided between more than one performer, or may be withheld altogether if the standard of the performances is not up to par.

 

V. FINANCIAL TERMS.

 

5 nights package - EUR 470 per person in a double or triple room in a 4* hotel with 3 meals per day.

20 EUR/year discount for registrations before 1 February 2025

Extra night in a hotel with 3 meals per day - EUR 65 per night.

Excludes tourist tax of EUR 1.39 per person/day from 17 years of age (payable directly at the hotel upon arrival)

Discounts apply for 3rd and 4th person in the room:

 

  • Children under 2 years stay free
  • Children 2-6 years - 50% discount
  • Children 7-10 years - 30% discount
  • 5% discount for persons over 10 years of age
  • 20% discount for managers
  • 20% discount for group bus drivers
  • For groups of more than 25 people, 1 seat (for the leader) is free of charge

 

The package price includes:

- staying in one of the 4-star hotels HOTEL GRAN GARBI, HOTEL GRAN GARBI MAR or HOTEL GARBI PARK (all within 200 metres of each other by the sea)

- 3 meals a day: rich buffet menu in the hotel restaurant (vegetarian and vegan options available)

- technical support for the event (stage, professional sound, lighting, technical staff)

- organising a friendship evening

- organisational and staff costs and the work of the jury

- excursion administration (excursion price is not included)

- Awards and commemorative gifts, trophies for participants.

 

Additional costs (optional):

- transfer between Barcelona Airport - Lloret de Mar/Visitation and return (price to be adjusted once the need is clear, tentatively ~ €30/person) One way) or Girona airport - hotel and return (price to be adjusted after demand is clear, tentatively ~EUR 20/person one way)

- 1-bedded room at the hotel: extra EUR 25 per room per night

- extra night in hotel (3k/d with meals) EUR 65/night/day

- prices for excursions will be sent separately

 

Note. It is possible to arrive before the official start of the competition and leave after the end of the competition. You must inform the hotel as early as possible of your wish to extend your stay in order to secure your hotel reservation.

All performances will be professionally filmed with 3 cameras. If you wish, you can order a video of your performance. Price 50 EUR.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All participants and accompanying persons stay in the hotel indicated by the Organiser If, however, it is necessary to choose a hotel of their own choice in order to participate in the Festival, the participant and accompanying persons must pay an accreditation fee of 120 EUR / person (for all days), which includes:

  • technical support for the event (stage, sound, lights, host, etc.),
  • organisation and work of the jury,
  • staff costs,
  • organising a friendship evening
  • excursion administration (excursion price is not included)

 

PARTICIPATION FEE:

  • 65 EUR for soloist
  • 80 EUR for a duo
  • 120 EUR trio
  • EUR 160 for a group of 4-7 persons
  • 250 EUR for a group of 8-10 persons
  • for groups of more than 10 persons, EUR 25 per person.

 

PAYMENT TERMS:

  • 50% of the amount is payable by 25 April 2025 at the time of application for participation;
  • the remaining 50% is payable by 10 June 2025.
  • for registrations after 25 April, a late registration surcharge of + EUR 20/year applies.

VI. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS.

Please send information by email to [email protected] by 25 April, stating:

  1. Participant's name and age
  2. Names of accompanying persons and ages of children
  3. City, country
  4. Name and surname of manager
  5. Which competition category are you planning to enter
  6. How many rooms of which type to book on which dates (single, double, triple)

 

If necessary, changes can be made to the competition entry until 20 June.

 

VII. FINAL PROVISIONS.

Participants are responsible for their own copyright compliance.

The Organiser has the right to use photographs and video footage taken during the event without the express consent of the participants.

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the programme and the Regulations as necessary.

Submission of an entry form implies that the participant and his/her accompanying persons agree to the terms and conditions set out by the Organiser in these Regulations.
