II. CONDUCT OF THE TENDER AND TIME LIMITS

2.1. RUNNING THE TENDER:

2.1 The competition is open to:

- soloists, duets, vocal and vocal instrumental ensembles without age limit;

- The 2024 Laureates are invited to participate in the competition without selection: the winners of the 1st to 3rd places in their categories;

- New entrants and entrants who are not laureates in 2024 must first take part in the selection phase, which is conducted remotely by entry (see point 2.2.1 for details);

- Winners of the previous year's Grand Prix are not eligible to enter the competition for one year, unless they enter another Grand Prix category, e.g. The Grand Prix Kids winner is eligible for Grand Prix Juniors this year by age, or in the Lithuanian Song or Original Song category.

2.2. DEADLINES FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ENTRY FORMS

2.2.1. PARTICIPATION IN THE SELECTION PHASE

New entrants and entrants who did not win the previous year's prize must first take part in the selection phase, which is based on the entry.

Participants in the selection stage should send a video recording of their performance by emailto [email protected]by March 5, 2026.The recording may not be edited using any technical means. The quality of the recording should be sufficient for filming with a phone, and recordings from other competitions or concerts are also acceptable. When sending the recording for selection, please provide additional information:

Name of participant (or name of group)

Age of participant (or average age of group members)

Name and surname of manager

Contact telephone number and email address for notification of selection results.

All participants who took part in the selection round will be informed of the selection results by email by March 10, 2026.

Please note! The evaluation committee will only review the videos submitted for selection after receiving the selection fee. The selection fee of EUR 20 is due by March 5, 2026.

2.2.2. PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION

Participants who have passed the selection process (or the 2025 winners) must complete the participation questionnaireby March 15. The questionnaires can be completed on the websitewww.muzikostalentulyga.lt.

The phonogram FILE must be titled in the following order: first name_last name (or band name)_song name

2.3. COMPETITION CATEGORIES

Each participant enters the competition category for their age group. The age groups will be announced after the end of registration, depending on the number of participants. There is no age limit.

The age group of the ensembles is determined by the average age of the group members.

Participants are free to choose the genre of the song to be performed. Participants will compete in NOMINATIONS based on age:

  • WORLD HIT (various genres);
  • FOLK (both authentic folk songs and contemporary arrangements);
  • LIETUVIŠKA DAINA (songs by Lithuanian authors, performed in Lithuanian)
  • AUTHOR'S SONG ( a song written by the artist)

Each participant can choose to participate in one or more Nominations. The duration of the song must not exceed 3:40 minutes.

In the event of a larger number of participants than can be accommodated within the allotted time, the organiser shall have the right to require a participant to perform only one song, subject to the prior agreement of the participant or the participant's representative (leader or parent representative).

Songs can be performed a cappella, with accompaniment on a phonogram ("minus" phonogram) or with "live" instruments. The organisers provide a keyboard instrument. Other instruments (if needed) are provided by the participants, including accessories for their sound, e.g. cubes for guitars.

2.4. THE EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR THE EVALUATION OF THE TENDERERS:

- vocal training (intonation, voice technique);

- the suggestiveness and artistry of the performance;

- stage image and culture;

The jury members shall score each participant's performance on a scale of 5 to 10 according to the criteria set out above. For each participant, the overall average of the scores of all the jury members shall be calculated.

2.5. COMPETITION SUPPORT

2.5.1. Participants are requested to support the competition by participating in the selectionprocessEUR 20 per performance by March 5.

2.5.2. Participants are asked to support the competition by participating in an international competition:

Soloists 105 EUR + EUR 80 for the second song
Duet 70 EUR /person + €50 per person for the second song
Trio, Quartet 60 EUR/person + €45 per person for the second song
Group of 5 or more people 45 EUR/person + 35 EUR / person for the second song

 

Those who register after March 15 will be subject to an additional "late registration fee" of €20 per performance. Late registrants will only be accepted if there is space for additional participants.

NOTE: If you cancel your participation for any reason after March 15, a cancellation fee of €30 will apply. The remaining amount paid may be transferred to another competition. If you cancel your participation later than April 10, the participation fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another competition.

Allcompetitionperformances will be filmed with 4 cameras, with sound connected from the console. Those who wish can purchase a high-definition video recording of the performance for €55.

All performances are photographed using professional equipment. Participants can purchase a package of high-resolution photos (4-6 photos) for €15. 

 

III. AWARDS

More than one first, second and third prize may be awarded in each category by decision of the Commission.

The MINI Grand Prix winners in each age group will be announced on the day of the competition.

The FINAL GRAND PRIXES for the ENTIRE COMPETITION will be announced at the end of all three days of the competition, after the Jury has listened to the recordings of the Mini Grand Prix winners of all three days. The Mini Grand Prix winners are the Grand Prix Nominees. The winners will be announced and publicised on the MUSIC TALENT LEAGUE website and on Facebook and Instagram.

The best performances of the competition will be included in the Gala Concert, which will be streamed on the Music Talent League's Youtube channel.

Grand Prix KIDS Junior and Grand Prix KIDS Junior GROUP (for children up to 8 years old)  

Grand Prix KIDS and Grand Prix KIDS GROUP (for children aged 9–11) 

  • Grand Prix JUNIOR and Grand Prix JUNIOR GROUP (for teenagers aged 12-14)
  • Grand Prix ADULTS and Grand Prix ADULTS GROUP (participants aged 15+)
  • Grand Prix LIETUVIŠKA DAINA (soloists and groups separately)
  • Special Prize AUTHOR'S SONG (among all age groups)
  • Special Prize FOLK (among all age groups)
  •  

The Commission may also decide not to award the Grand Prix if it is considered that the level of the candidates is not at the level of the Grand Prix.

V.ACCOMMODATION

 5.1. Participants are offered accommodation at HOTEL IBIS CENTRE in the center of Vilnius. The price of a double room is EUR 80 per night, including breakfast. The price of a single room is EUR 70 per night, including breakfast. To book a hotel, please contact the Organizer by email at [email protected].

VI. FINAL PROVISIONS

6.1 Competitors and accompanying persons are responsible for their own travel and subsistence expenses.

6.2 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the Programme and the Regulations as necessary.

6.3 The Competition Organisers shall be entitled to all TV and radio appearances, publishing, filming and photography without any additional fee. The Organiser may use video, audio and photographic material for promotional purposes without the express permission of the participants.

6.4 By completing the application form and declaring his/her wish to take part in the competition, the participant agrees that his/her personal data, such as his/her name, surname, age, position and other data related to the activities of the competition, will be made public and public. The participants' contact details and phonograms shall be stored in the Organiser's internal database and shall not be disseminated externally, except for self-promotion.

6.5 Participants are responsible for respecting the copyright of the songs they perform.
